Funeral for Cecil Waltham Walden, 90, of Decatur will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ridout''s Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Todd Evans officiating. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Walden, who died Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2010, was born April 29, 1919, in Decatur to Richard Ellis Walden and Lillie Mayabelle Cowart. He was a member of Walden Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Walden was preceded in death by his wife, Faye Walden and two daughters, Mary Turner and Etheleen Sanford. Survivors include three sons, Ellis Mac Walden (Gloria) of Nauvoo, Cecil Walden, Jr. (Phyllis) of Georgia and Carl Walden and wife, Susan, of Warner Robins, Ga.; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.
