Cecil R "Jr" Walton, Jr., 67, of Rogersville died Thursday, March 30, 2016, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Friday, April 1, 2016, from 12-2 PM at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM with Bro. Stan Dean and Bro. Michael South officiating. Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery. Elkins East Chapel is assisting the family.
Mr. Walton was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He retired from Reynolds after 38 years of service.
Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his parents, Rutledge and Ruth Walton; brothers, Larry, Gary, Jerry Don, and Tim Walton; sister, Mary Kathryn Walton; niece, Carol Ann Walton; mother-in-law, Alva Dean Alexander.
Mr. Walton is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Walton; daughters, Jennifer Sherrill (Tracey) and Emily Hall; grandchildren whom he loved so much, Katie and Maggie Sherrill, Alex Walton, and Mackenzie Hall; sisters, Gayle South (Abe) and Angie Bailey (Victor); brothers, Harold Walton (Barbara), Earl Walton (Midge), and Charles Walton (Judy); sister-in-law, Alison Walton; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Walton, Michael South, Todd Walton, Jeff Holmes, Jacob Walton, and Paul Walton.
