Celestine Jones McKee, 86, of Florence died Thursday, February 17, 2011, at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be at Elkins Funeral Home Sunday, February 20, 2011 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2PM in the Chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McKee was a Charter member of Broadway Baptist Church, Florence, Alabama and a graduate of Lexington High School.
She is survived by two daughters, Dianne Haas (Ron) Homewood, AL, Janice Hendon (Terry) Florence, AL; three sons, Tommy McKee (Maggie), Florence, AL Gary McKee (Mary), Albuquerque, NM, Bruce McKee (Bo Hale), Mountain Brook, AL ; eight grandchildren, Kevin Haas (Maria) Leesburg, VA, Eric Haas (Melodie) Vestavia, AL, Lori Hendon Lietch (Ryan) Northport, AL, Kara Hendon Miller (Doug) Huntsville, AL, Julie Hendon, Boone, NC, William McKee, Albuquerque, NM, Justin McKee, Mountain Brook, AL, Kathleen McKee, Mountain Brook, AL; four great-grandchildren, Ryland Miller, Daniel Lietch, Everett Haas, and Eva Haas; two brothers, Hermas Jones (Ruth) and L.C. Jones both of Athens, AL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W. B. (Bill) McKee in 1992; parents, Grover and Gracie Jones; three brothers, Mitchell Jones, Vernon Jones, and Travis Jones.
