Charles Ray Borden was born January 03,1949 and passed away Saturday September 17, 2022 at his home in Leighton, Alabama.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at Elkins East Chapel from 12 to 2 pm with the services beginning at 2 pm. He will be laid to rest at Shaw Cemetery in Leighton, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Hill Borden, son; Donny Ray Borden and his parents, James and Charlene Borden.

He is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Borden; son, Jason Borden (Julie); sisters, Carolyn, Loretta, and Barbara; brothers, Billy, Johnny and Michael; grandchildren, Vanna, Wesley, Austin (Darby), Jackson, and Ella; great-grandchildren, Brylee, Breyton, Major and Willa Rae.

He was a member of Cross Brand Cowboy Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He was a member of the operating engineers local for 35 years.

Pallbearers will be Stacey Davis, William Davis, Casey Crosswhite, Jeremiah Holland, Anthony Cryer and Russ Richardson.
