Mr. Charles Thomas Burks, 70, of Florence, passed away Saturday, April 25, 2009. The funeral for Mr. Burks will be at Elkins Funeral Home on Monday, April 27, with Bro. Tim Grigsby officiating. The family will receive friends an hour before the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery following the service.
Charles is preceded in death by his brothers, Joe W. Burks, Jr., and Ray Burks.
He is survived by his brothers Roy Burks, Jimmy Burks, Harold Burks; sister, Marjorie Quillen; and several nieces and nephews.
His nephews will serve as pallbearers.
