Charles Edgar Gray, 73, of Florence died Wednesday, June 1, 2016, at his residence.

A graveside service will be Saturday, June 4, 2016, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens at 11 AM with Bro. Tom Sibley officiating. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mr. Gray served in the US Army during the Vietnam Era. He served in the 1st Calvary Air Mobile and was a Paratrooper. He served his country well.

Mr. Gray was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Hill Gray; parents, Tom L. and Laura Gray; brother, Tommy Gray; sister, Barbara Robertson.

Mr. Gray is survived by his sister, Nita Mitchell; four brothers, Don, Butch, Pete, and Jim Gray.
