Charles J Springer's Obituary
Charles J. Springer, 85, of Florence died Monday, December 18, 2017, at his residence.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 21, 2017, 9-10 AM at Elkins Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 10 AM in the Chapel with Steven Butler officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Springer worked for the City of Florence for 31 ½ years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie Johanna Springer; parents, Benjamin Franklin and Georgie Goodwin Springer; brothers and sisters, BW, Ed, Neider, Oldelee, Ened, and Dean.
He is survived by his daughter, Judy Smith (Jeff); sons, Sam Springer (June) and Terry Springer (Becky); grandchildren, Kristy, Katie, Andrew, Emilie, and Deanna; 6 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Howard, Jeff Smith, Lane Rohling, Duston Coan, and Chris Wolf. Honorary pallbearer will be Pete Lopez.
