Funeral for Charles Mayo, 59, of Hartselle will Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Greenbrier Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Lowery officiating and Ridout''s Brown Service directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service. Graveside service will be at Bethlehem West Cemetery in Cullman County at 1:30 p.m. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Mayo, who died Saturday, July 28, 2007, at Hartselle Medical Center, was born Sept. 13, 1947, in Decatur to Herman and Helen Clark Mayo. He was a life-long resident of Greenbrier and worked at Macedon Farms. Mr. Mayo was an active member of Greenbrier Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Doris Mayo. He is survived by his wife, Dean Mayo; two sons, David Mayo and Willis Mayo of Greenbrier; two stepsons, Malcolm Waddell and Lynn Waddell of Hartselle; two sisters, Louise Mayo and Marie Ragsdale of Decatur; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be the deacons and trustees of Greenbrier Baptist Church.
