Charles Hollis Springer, 75 of Florence, AL passed away on Friday, February 1, 2019.  He was a native of Florence, AL and was a retired Bus Driver.  He was also the drummer for the The Upsetters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2019 from 6-9:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence.  The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will be in Nebo Cemetery, Lexington.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Hollis Springer and Nellie Springer Hurst; brothers, John and James (Elaine) Springer.

Survivors include his sons, Jeffery, Brad and Chad (Amy McDonald) Springer; daughter, Lori Davis; grandchildren, Jon, Kimberlee and Lauren Springer, Chase McDonald; great-grandchildren, Gaberial and Bradden Springer and Gavin Kitchens, Ethan Moses; sister in law, Eda Springer and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jon Springer, Sydney Bush, Tim Springer, David Springer, Scott Ahlf and Issac Springer.
