Funeral for Charles W. Stricklin, 70, Chalybeate, will be Friday, December 28, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Elliott Funeral Home, with Bro. Keith Jones officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Stricklin, who died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 was born on March 10, 1927 in Lawrence County to Clyde and Noralee Stricklin. He was a member of Cornith Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son Jeff Sticklin. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Barbara Ann Stricklin, one daughter, Shelia Kelso, 2 grandchildren, Ashby Stricklin and wife Ashley and Rebecca Pitts and husband David; three great grandchildren, Landen Stricklin, Chris and Erie Pitts. One brother Rev. Ted Stricklin.
