Funeral for Wendell Fike, 78 from Mt. Hope, will be Wednesday, July 20th at 1:00 PM at Elliott Funeral Home Chapel, with Ben Phillips officiating.
Burial will be at Mt Hope Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, from 6:00PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Fike, who died Sunday July 17, 2016 was born on March 20, 1938 in Lawrence County to Elton and Edna Fike.
He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Earline Fike; three sons, Anthony Fike, Michael Fike (Carol), and Keith Fike (Amanda); one daughter, Rhonda Murphree (Gene); four sisters, Faye Bumgart, Doris Harrison, Sue Brooks and Linda Sapp; five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
