Charlie Robbins, 92, passed away at his residence in Decatur, Alabama on July 10, 2019.

He was born April 21,1927 to Sam and Mattie Robbins in Monterey Tennessee.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Ellen Jones Robbins and a son, Jimmy. Mr. Robbins was a WWII veteran and served in the U.S. Navy

He is survived by a daughter, Donna R. Shanks (Ben) of Kingsport, TN; son, Chuck Robbins (Amy) of Decatur Al; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

A family graveside service with military honors will be held, Saturday, July 13, 2019, at 11:00 AM at Highland Cemetery, Rogersville, TN with Broome Funeral Home directing and Pastor Todd Pierce officiating with Randy Combs speaking.

Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home is assisting the family with Decatur Arrangments.
