Christopher Wayne "Chris" Hannah, 59, of Florence passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at ECM Hospital. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence. The graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. at Florence City Cemetery.

A graduate of Bradshaw High School, Chris attended Faith Church in Florence. He enjoyed reading, attending cookouts with family and friends, corresponding with long distance family, acquaintances and friends on Facebook, and petting his little Dachshund, "Rocky".

Survivors include his daughter, Jessica Chavez, brothers, Brian Hannah (Lori) and Gene Hannah (Susie); "Rocky the Mutt"; nieces, Adriane Hannah, Amity Hannah, and Pammie Dean; nephew, Willie Tucker; and five great-nephews and 4 great-nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edd Ross and Ouida Gwendolyn Bayles Hannah, Jr.; sister, Gwendolyn "Suzanne" Hannah; and niece, Ashley Hannah.

Pallbearers will be Bob Marlin, Scott Bayles, Willie Tucker, Greg Thornton, and Kyle Dean.
