Cindy Casson, 67, of Killen went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 5, 2014. With a servant''s heart, she touched the lives of everyone she met and was a cherished mother, Nana, sister, aunt and friend to all. "Many women have done excellently but you surpass them all." Psalms 31:29.
She is survived by her daughter; Heather (Jason) Holmes, son; Joshua (Vickie) Casson, sister; Dorothy Carnes, brothers; Roger (Maria) Rucks, Dell Rucks and three precious granddaughters; Evelyn Casson, Audrey Casson, and Ella Holmes. Mrs. Casson was preceded in death by her husband Tony R. Casson, parents; Oscar Walker Rucks Jr. and Era Marie Carlyle Rucks. Mrs. Casson is a graduate of Plainview High School, Class of 1964. She retired from South Central Bell and served First Baptist Killen for many years as secretary and After-School Care Coordinator.
Services will be at First Baptist Killen with visitation Friday, March 7th from 6-8:30 p.m. and funeral service Saturday, March 8th at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Killen Building Fund.
