Funeral for Clara Aline Bruton Pounders, age 76, of Tuscumbia will be Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Don Morris officiating. Burial will be in Ferguson Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 until 2 at the funeral home. Mrs. Pounders who died Friday, December 12, 2008 at Sunbridge Rehab Center in Tuscumbia, was born August 19, 1932 in Lawrence County to Bud and Jennie Bruton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hubert Pounders, 5 brothers, James M., Elwood, J. D., Emmit and Jessie bruton; 3 sisters, Linnie Mae Bruton Borden, Julia Bailey Bolan and Ruby Smith. She is survived by one brother, J. W. Bruton of Tuscumbia and a host of neices and nephews.
