Mrs. Clarice Elinor White, 93, of Florence, passed away Saturday, March 14,2009.
Funeral service will be Monday, March 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Elkins Funeral Home Chapel Florence. Burial will follow at Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Henry Melton and Tommy James. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
Clarice was a member of Faith Church for 40 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Dayton E. White. Parents Chester Roy Hodges and Stella Gertrude Nicholas.
She is survived by a son Gary Eloyd White and wife Brenda Kay. Granddaughter Tammy Renae Rickman, great-grandchildren Halie Rickman, Drew Rickman and Houston Rickman.
Pallbearers will be Mike Nash, Doug Rickman, Chris Griffin, Grant Wilkes, James Barnhart and Bobby Stricklin.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Mitchell- Hollingsworth staff at station two, and all the workers.
