Moulton
Funeral service for Connie Selman Alexander will be today, March 26, 2011, at First United Methodist Church in Moulton, at noon with the Rev. Eric Brown and the Rev. Carl Long officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Alexander, who died Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Lawrence County Hospital, was born December 13, 1953, in Birmingham. Connie was a member of First United Methodist Church and a teacher at Moulton Elementary School for 27 years teaching kindergarten and third grade science. She is preceded in death by her son, Harold Griffith Alexander.
Survivors include her husband, Rod Alexander; two sons, Mark and his wife, Allison, Sam Alexander and his wife, Cheli; her parents, Harold and Martha Selman; and two grandchildren, Ellie and Tripp.
Pallbearers will be the Mens Emmaus Reunion Group.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund in Moulton.
Elliott Funeral will be directing.
