Mrs. Cynthia Killian Thornton, age 73 of Florence, passed away on January 14, 2025. Visitation will be Sunday, January 19 at Elkins Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1pm. Service will begin at 3. A burial will immediately follow the service at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Thornton was a kind, sweet woman who loved to spend time with her family more than anything in the world. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Thornton is survived by her husband, Robert Thornton; sons, Benjamin (Amanda) and Nicholas (Emily) Thornton; and her grandchildren Logan, Abby, Gavin, Noah, Copeland, and Everly Thornton. She is preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin and Nelta Killian.

Pallbearers will be Benjamin Thornton, Nicholas Thornton, Logan Thornton, Gavin Thornton and Noah Thornton.
