David Laine Barkley, 49, of Florence died Friday, January 10, 2020, at his residence.

A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 14, 2020, 10 AM at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with Bro. Henry Melton officiating.  Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.

David studied Marine Biology at UNA.  He loved NASCAR and Alabama Football.

Mr. Barkley was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lee Barkley.

He is survived by his daughter, Taylor Jade Barkley; father, Billy Barkley; brother, Brent Barkley; niece and nephew, Starr Barkley and Chance Barkley; great-niece and nephew, Maelee Barkley and Andrew Barkley; special friend, Seth Brown; beloved pet, Boone.
