David Mark Henn's Obituary
Mr. David Mark Henn, 74, of Florence, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013.
The service to celebrate his life will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Florence. A time of visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church. The Rev. Robert Stegall will officiate.
David graduated in 1958 from Wendell L. Wilkie High School in Elwood, Indiana and attended Butler University.
He enjoyed being involved in his church. He loved his grandchildren and their activities, spending time with his nieces and nephews, and the children of the neighborhood.
Mr. Henn is survived by his wife Sherry K. Henn; children Dianna Morgan and husband Randy, Mark Henn and wife Jeanne, and Michael Henn and wife Susan; grandchildren Hannah Morgan, Hunter Morgan, Taylor Henn, Blake Henn, Lindsay Henderson, Justin Henderson and Trinity McCormick; great-grandchildren Cole Tubbs, Nevaeh Womack, and Hayes Henderson; sister Cathy Spivey and husband Dan; brother Tony Henn and wife Jennifer; brother-in-law Tom Hartzler and wife Christy; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Mark and Mary Jane Henn, a brother Larry Henn, and a sister Suzanne Meyer.
The family would like to thank Amy in CCU at ECM Hospital and Deborah Burns for sharing Amazing Grace in song.
In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials to First Christian Church, Florence, or to St. Jude Children''s Research Hospital.
