David Lynn Skipworth, 63 of Sheffield, AL passed away on September 16, 2021.  He was of the baptist faith and was a member of the carpenter Local # 1209.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 12-2:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Phillip Skipworth officiating.  Interment will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jodie and Maxine Skipworth and grandson Tanner Vaughn.

Survivors include his children, Cathy Raetzel (Mike), Danny Skipworth and Shannon Norris (Steve); brother, Danny Skipworth (Deb); sister Barbara Coats (Roger); ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and his many dear friends and very special friend Rusty Nelson.

Pallbearers will be Danny Skipworth, Mike Raetzel, John Thompson, Randy Blaylock, Devin Skipworth and Tyler Vaughn. Honorary pallbearer will be Rusty Nelson
