Instead of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Gideon's International.
Dean Buttram, age 82, of Hillsboro, passed away Tuesday, 7/18/17. Graveside Service will be 11:00 am Thursday at Moulton Memory Gardens. Brother Bill Pullen will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at Elliott Funeral Home.
Dean was born November 23, 1934 in Lawrence County, to Clark, and Geneva Buttram. He was a retired electrician and farmer. Preceded in death by his parents, one brother, John Buttram and one sister, Joy Copeland.
Survivors include his Wife of 64 years, Jeanette Buttram. Two sons, Garry Buttram (Sherry), and Joel Buttram (Jody). Five grandchildren, Kesha Buttram, Kasey Wallace (Jason), Kody Buttram, Kolby Buttram (Bekah), and Joni Burden (Hunter). Five great grandchildren, Hampton, Sally, Ila Kate, Jack, and Emma Reece. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800 Nashville, TN 37214-0800.
Pallbearers will be,Kody Buttram, Kolby Buttram, Jason Wallace, Hunter Burden, David Stewart and Benny Stewart.
