Deedie M. O''Steen, age 88, of Florence passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014. Graveside services will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday April 9, 2014 at Florence City Cemetery with Mark White officiating.

She was a Christian and worshipped with the College View Church of Christ.

Deedie was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bessie Moomaw; brothers, T.C. Underwood and Marvin Moomaw; sister-in-law, Frances Underwood; brother-in-law, Chuck West and Pete Hamilton; and daughter-in-law, Pat O''Steen.

Mrs. O''Steen is survived by her husband of 63 years, D.C. O''Steen Jr.; children, Chap (Gay) O''Steen, D.C. (Sandra) O''Steen III, Beth (Ed) Kasmeier, Amy (Ed) Burrows, and Wally (Colleen) O''Steen; sisters, Agnes West and Nell Hamilton; sister-in-law, Mary Evelyn Moomaw; grandchildren, Deedie Simpson, Doug O''Steen, and Craig O''Steen, D.C. O''Steen IV and Rona Swindall, Ben and Thomas Burrows, and Haley, Rosalind and Claire O''Steen; and eight great-grandchildren.
