Delmer Cephis Moody age 83 of Anderson passed on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Elkins East Chapel from Noon until 2:00 P.M. Service will be at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel with Alex Bays officiating. Burial will be at Hurricane Cemetery in Anderson.
Delmer was preceded in death by his son Donnie and grandchild, Jamie Moody.
He is survived by his wife Mary Sue Moody. Four children, Tony Moody of Russellville, Al, Mitsy Clemons of Spring City, Tn, Karon "Kim" Cogswell of Huntsville, Al, and Vickey Grigsby of Greenhill, Al. His grandchildren, Dakotah Green, Cory Moody, Mackenzie Alexander, Lindsey Smith and Jared Grigsby. His great-grandchildren, Alivia, Maddux, Alexis, Warren Blake, Hunter, Tyson and Koen. His nephews and nieces, Hershell and J.D. Rithmire, Gary Wayne and Neal Hendrix and Debbie Townsend.
Delmer loved the outdoors, gardening and spending time with family.
