Dewey Boston, age 88, passed on December 29, 2023.  Visitation will be at Bethany Baptist Church on Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 12:00-2:00 PM.  with funeral service to follow.  Rev. Hollis Rutherford officiating.  Burial will be at Blackground Cemetery.

Dewey was born 9/12/1935 in Walker Co. Alabama to John Boston and Dora Abbott Boston.

He served in the U.S. Airforce and was a lifelong member of Bethany Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Boston: Daughters: Debbie Thomas, Patricia Bryan (Ricky), Barbie Boston, Martha Boston, and Dora Heisey (Rich).  Brothers Jack Boston (Jewel) and Lonzo Boston (Debbie).  Grandchildren: Chris Kilpatric, Abby Kilpatric, Scott Kilpatric, Catie Gajewski (Mark), Cody Bryan, Blake Heisey, Aiden Heisey, and Brendan Heisey.  Great-grandchildren: Briaunna Kilpatric, Nevaeh Aldridge, C. J. Kilpatric, Nasiah McGhee, Kartur Kilpatric, Jayce Carter, Bryan Gajewski, and Kaidance Peterson. One great-great grandchild, Tru Bolden.  a very special friend, Prentiss McGhee.

Pallbearers will be: Johnny Boston, Chris Kilpatric, Scott Kilpatric, Cody Bryan, Blake Heisey and C.J. Kilpatric.
