Funeral for Diane Goodwin "Dino" Blaxton, 66, of Leighton will be Sunday, October 5, 2014, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Truman Sutton officiating. Burial will be in Morris Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 9 at the funeral home. Mrs. Blaxton died Thursday, October 2, 2014. She was born December 9, 1947, in Morgan County to Thomas Goodwin and Ruby Prince Goodwin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Blaxton; two brothers, Kenneth Robert Goodwin and Daniel Lamar Goodwin and her parents. Survivors include four daughters, April Blaxton, Charlene Blaxton Holliday, Tina Blaxton Smallwood (Jeff) and Nena Blaxton Bullard; 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Jean Thompson, Llinda Jeanette Harris and Judy Elaine Underwood; one brother, Tommy Hal Goodwin. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
