Funeral Mass for Diane Lee Hammons 81, of Decatur will be Tuesday April 23, 2019 at 1:30 PM at the Annunciation of the lords Catholic Church with father Wyman Vintson officiating and Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Hammons was born in Hamilton Ohio on September 24, 1937 to Howard Martin and Ellen Watt Martin; she passed away on April 15, 2019 at compassus hospice in Irondale Alabama. She attended Ohio State University and was a Host and Director at WYAM TV 51. She is preceded in death by her husband Roger Hammons and son in law Mickey Swinea and grandson Mathew Swinea.

She is survived by sons Mark Hammons (Tammy) of Decatur, Jon Hammons (Pam) of Texas, Daughters Jennifer Swinea of Somerville, Kim McDevitt (Scott) of Washington. Grandchildren Heather Keller, Christopher Hammons, Michael Hammons, Sara Swinea, Elizabeth Swinea, Joseph Lomas, Nathan Lomas. Five Great Grandchildren.
