Funeral for Dillard Elbert Blevins, 82, of Moulton will be Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with Bro. Ray McWhorter officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mr. Blevins, who died Sunday, April 26, 2009, was born March 3, 1927, to James Memory and Minnie Willingham Blevins. He was a Korean War veteran. He was awarded the Bronze Star and a Purple Heart for his dedication to his country. He was a member of Fairfield Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Alma Aldridge Blevins; one son, Stephen "Buster" Blevins (Reta); two daughters, Jane Walker (Ron) and Nancy Brown (Greg); two sisters, Betty Donaldson of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Sue Hogue of Tampa, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
