Mrs. Dixie Hunter Morris of Florence AL Passed away on Tuesday September 18, 2018 after a short illness. She was surrounded by family who loved her as she traveled on to Heaven.

She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Current Book Club, and various Bridge Clubs.

A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11-1:00 p.m. at Elkins Funeral Home, Florence

She was proceeded in death by Parents, Jack and Verda Hunter, Sisters Roxie Foshee and Tommie Gress, and Brother Cleo Hunter.

Dixie is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Buck Morris; brother, Robert "Doyle" Hunter; son Jeff Morris (Linda); grand children Hunter (Macie) Kaitlin (Jon); great grandchildren Tripp and Charlotte Morris and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be the ladies of Peggy Hyde's Sunday School Class at Highland Baptist Church.
