Dolores Kathryn Nelson Hopkins Brock Moulton
Funeral for Dolores Kathryn Nelson Hopkins Brock, 70, will be Wendesday, June 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church with the Rev. Toney Pepper and Scott Coats officiating. Burial will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5 to 8 at Elliott Funeral Home. Mrs. Brock, who died Sunday, June 12, 2011 was born April 11, 1941 in Florence to Starling E. Nelson and Reeper Alexander Nelson. She graduated from Lawrence County High School and attended Florence State Teachers College. She was a avid lover of animals, flowers and her church. Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betsy Marlina Nelson and her husbands, H. Drew Hopkins and Morris O. Brock. She is survived by three sisters, Rosemary Weinmann Lewey and husband Marshall of Moulton, Maureen Weinmann of Scottsboro and Lisa Weinmann Steele and husband Ken of Moulton; special niece, Laura Rutherford and husband Jeffrey and seven nieces and nephews, Rose Armstrong Keller, Jim Lewey, Katy Beth Lewey, Alex Armstrong, Heather Armstrong, Brad Steele and Scott Steele. Pallbears will be Jim Lewey, Brad Steele, Scott Steele, Allen Keller, Don Dodson, Keith Letson, Weston Rutherford and Trey Dodson.
