Don Travis Moore age 77 of Florence passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016. Funeral Service will be held private. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence in charge.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lucille and Robert N. Moore. One brother, Robert E. Moore.

Don is survived by his wife of 56 years Beverly Joyce Moore. One daughter Denise Creasy (Robbie) and one son, Michael Moore. One Sister, Sandra Scott. Five grandchildren, Jessica, Brandon, Samantha, Trey and Kayla. Six great-grandchildren, Brayden, Reece, Alan, Blake, Adrik and Kaeson.

Don was a member of a well known band in the area called "The Five Jets". The Five Jets have been playing together since 1955 and this year will be their 10th year to play the Handy Festival. Don was the lead vocalist as well as had the talent of being able to play most all the instruments and did so on occasion.
