Donald Lee Brown, 57, of Decatur died Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Decatur General Hospital. He was born August 24, 1954, in Morgan County to John A. Brown and Coleene Parrish Brown. He loved to play guitar, music, plants and flowers. He worked with the mentally disabled at Lurleen B. Wallace. He was preceded in death by his mother and his brother, John A. Brown Jr.
Survivors include his father, John A. Brown; and sisters, Patricia Copeland (Tommy) and Barbara Green (Nicholas).
A memorial service will be Sunday, April 22, 2012, at 2 p.m. at Point Mallard Prayer Chapel with Tom Salter officiating. His ashes will be released Saturday, April 28, 2012, in Gulf Shores.
Memorials may be made to East End United Methodist Church, 1806 Beech Street SE, Decatur, AL 35601.
