Donald Wayne Tate (Duck) of Lexington died at his residence Sunday, December 6, 2020.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 10, 2020, at Elkins East Chapel from 12-2 PM.  Funeral services will follow at 2 PM in the Chapel with Stanley Hargett officiating.  Burial will be at Bluewater Cemetery.

Mr. Tate was preceded in death by his mother and father, Vona Butler Tate and Johnnie Tate; brothers, William (JR), Ralph, and Paul Tate; sisters, Louise Taylor, Millinea Sledge, and Freddie Mae Sledge.

He leave to cherish his memory his wife Scarlett; children, Kami Tate, Diona Patton, David Skalba (Carrie Lynn), and Carrie Wildermuth (Jack); grandchildren, Jordahn Hubbard (Cam), Cailee Rowlett and Joseph Jameson; great-grand daughter, Thea; brothers, Hurace Tate (Judy) amd Bob Tate (Judy); sisters, Shirley Pugh and Janie Luncford; numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, and countless friends.

Donalds greatest joy in life was enjoying his family, whom he loved so very dearly.

Pallbearers will be Mitchell Belue, Daniel Sledge, Josh Sledge, Brad Sledge, Chris Sledge, Matt Sledge, and Brandon Tate.
