White, Donald Andrew passed away at age 70 on July 3, 2020. He was born on December 14, 1949 in Florence, AL. He was a graduate of the University of North Alabama and, upon graduation, entered the U.S. Army. After active duty he served in the Army Reserve and retired with the rank of U.S. Army Major.

Donald was a labor negotiator with the United Brotherhood of Carpenters Union. Later, he was the production manager with Bruce Hardwood Flooring in Nashville, TN.

Survivors include sons, Andrew White and David White; former wife, Babs White of Franklin, TN. He was preceded in death by parents, Solomon White, Helen Neely White and brother, Mart White.

Donald will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor. He most enjoyed spending time with his sons and pursuing his interests of farming, hunting and fishing.

A graveside service with military honors was held on July 7, 2020 at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens in Florence. Arrangements were entrusted to Elkins Funeral Home.
