Doris Gail Choat age 73 of Florence passed away on Friday, October 28, 2016. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 12 noon until 2:00 P.M. at Cross Point Church of Christ with services to follow at 2:00 P.M. at the church. Bro. Frank Mills and Bro. Sonny Owens officiating. Elkins Funeral Home of Florence directing. Burial will be at Tri Cities Memorial Gardens.

She is preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Rex and Gertrude Brewer.

Doris is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, J.D. Choat and precious daughter Stacey Choat. One brother William Gary Brewer (Nancy), and two sisters in law who were her sisters, Marie Malone and Judy Lenz. Two nephews, Johnnie Malone and Jason Lenz. Two nieces, Christy Kennamore and Angela Underwood.

Mrs. Choat is a faithful member of Cross Point Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be Johnnie Malone, Jason Lenz, Tim Kennamore, Chase Underwood, Jack Broadfoot, John Archer, Doug Trousdale and George Lovelace. Honorary Pallbearer, A. Keith Pooser III
