Funeral service for Dorothy "Dot" Braswell, 87, of Decatur will be Friday, February 14, 2014, at 2 .m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Deal officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Braswell, who died Saturday, February 8, 2014, at Parkway Medical Center, was born May 12, 1926, in Morgan County to Clyde and Dellie Fretwell. She retired as an RN from Parkway Medical Center. She was a lifetime member of Beltline Church of Christ. Her husband, Leon Braswell, preceded her in death.

Survivors include one son, Danny L. Braswell; two daughters, Dottie K. Carter and husband, Benny, and Paula Robichaud and husband, Roger; two sisters, Esta Ledlow and Mavis Byrd and husband, Dallas; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Beloved by all who knew her. You will be greatly missed.
