Decatur Funeral for Dorothy Faye Couey, age 94, of Decatur will be Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with Pastor Tony Pitt officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetary. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Couey, who passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014, was born August 30, 1920, in Decatur to Bertha Wade and Floyd Jacobs of Decatur. She was a long time member of the Decatur Seventh Day Adventist Church.Survivors include a sister, Aleta Dawkins; daughter, Janice Johnson; son-in-law, Russell Johnson; grandchildren, Jesse Smith, Clint Johnson (Hannah), Leah Johnson; and great-granddaughter, Gemma Johnson.
