Funeral for Dorothy Shankle Johnson, 93, of Decatur who passed away on February 24, 2019 at Morningside assisted living. The family will have a visitation on Wednesday Feb, 27, 2019 from 12:30 until 2:00 pm at St. Andrews Presbyterian church with service to follow visitation. Burial will be in Roselawn cemetery. Rev. Mrs. Johnson was born in Morgan county Alabama to L.E. Shankle and Velma Sims Shankle. She was a member of the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Woman's Association. She was retired from Johnson truck and Auto. She was preceded in death by her husband James R. Johnson and 2 sisters Evelyn S. Marshall and Christine S. Smith.

She is survived by son Jimmy R. Johnson and wife Judy. Niece Maxine Marshall Clemons husband Bev T of O'Fallon Mo, Nephew Stephen Marshall of Decatur, Great Nephew Marshall Clemons wife Stephanie of O'Fallon Mo. Great Niece Rebecca Clemons Pittman husband Jim of Concord, NC. Several cousins and many many friends.

Pallbearers will be Doug Berryhill, Jim Webster, Robert Jones, Sonny Johnson, Mack Haraway, Mark Haraway, Bill Grubb, Tom Gates.

The Family would like to request no flowers and instead make a donation to the St. Andrews Presbyterian church or Hospice in her memory.
