Dorothy McCafferty age 85 of Rogersville passed away on Thursday, March 03, 2016. Visitation will be Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 12:30pm till 2:00p.m. at Elkins East Chapel. Services will follow at 2:00p.m. in the chapel with Ronny Jones officiating. Burial will be at Springfield Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ottis McCafferty. Parents, Henry and Earline White. Brothers, William, Junior and Ed White. One niece, Cindy Brown. And a grandson-in-law, Tony Clanton.
She is survived by her daughter Doris Jean Hamner (Doug). Two grandchildren Michele Clanton and Darrell Hamner (Amber). Four great grandchildren Mackenzie and Micaden Clanton and Tristan and Kathryn Hamner.
Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church of Center Star.
Pallbearers will be Travis White, Jeremy Brown, Frank Beavers, Glen Smith, Terry Holden and Darrell Hamner.
