Funeral for Dorothy G. Nix,89, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2012 at her residence in Somerville surrounded by her loving family. A Funeral service will be held Wednesday may 30,2012 at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Brother Pearl Jenkins Officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday night from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Nix was born June 25, 1922 in Morgan County to Leldon and Grace Garrison.
She is Survived by her husband Rufus Daniel Nix, Son David Knighten and wife Anita. Daughter Carol Cuip. Five Grandchildren, Eight Great Grandchildren, Two Great Great Grandchildren. One sister Margaret Lemmond. Two Brothers Jack Garrison and Donald Garrison
