Mrs. Dorothy Bowers Wallace, 83, of Florence, passed away Tuesday July 6, 2010. The funeral service will be today at 3 PM in Elkins funeral home chapel, with Bro. Bill Harper officiating. Interment will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband Ivan B. Wallace and by her son, Brent Wallace. She was a member of Central Baptist church of Florence. She is survived by her daughters: Phyllis Chapman and husband Chet, and Wanda Wright. Son: Randy Wallace and wife Susan. 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Sister: Nell Phillips and brother, Gilbert Bowers and wife Judy. Several nieces and nephews. Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
