Funeral for Dottie "Nana Dot" Cottingham, 70, of Decatur will be Thursday, September 19, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Pastor Rickey Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Cottingham Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Ms. Cottingham died Sunday, September 15, 2013. She was born May 14, 1943, in Lawrence County to Austin and Dollie Cottingham. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph Price "Buddy" Cottingham; and two sisters, Louise Storey and Marie Kirkland.

She is survived by two brothers, Charles "Bud" Cottingham (Martha) and James Cottingham (Earline); two sisters, Dorris Mann and Betty "Sis" French; and her special babies, Jeff, Heath, Jessica, Jeffery, Mia, Abby, Paxton, Payton and Brynlee.
