Dottie Montgomery Campbell, 75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2012. Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at Elliott Funeral Home with the Rev. Oscar Ray Gray officiating. Burial will be in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
She was born on July 23, 1937. She is proceeded in death by her husband, Wallace Campbell; parents, Dave and Docie Montgomery; brothers, Roy Montgomery, Thomas Montgomery and Gay Montgomery; and sister, Louise Montgomery.
She is survived by children, Shirley Stricklin, Gene Knighten (Beverly), Darlene Zills (Keith), Brenda Mears (Thomas) and Harold Knighten (Holly); brothers and sisters, Ommie Tucker, Buck Montgomery, Mildred Sheats (Rubert), Grace Tucker (R.V.), Louis Montgomery (Doris), Elizabeth Tucker (A.Z.), Edith Heflin (Alton) and Joe Montgomery (Nadine); 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jonathan Stricklin, Jason Stricklin, Steven Knighten, Christopher Knighten, D.J. Knighten, Jake Hubbard and Brenton Knighten.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jackson Knighten and Derrick Knighten.
