Doug Welborn, age 56, of Moulton, died Saturday, June 4, 2016. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Moulton Church of Christ. Burial will follow in Moulton City Cemetery. Jack Burch, Andy White, and Donald Kidd will be officiating. Elliott''s Brown Service Funeral Home will be directing. Visitation will be today at the church from 5:30 p.m. until 8:30 pm.

Doug was born July 24, 1959 in Moulton to Coke Welborn and Earline Spivey Welborn, who both preceded him in death. He was a faithful member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and coaching softball. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Kidd Welborn; one son, Blake (Jessi) Welborn, of Moulton; two daughters, Kristy (Daniel) Skelton, of Waynesboro, Tennessee and Kasey (Jerry) Morris, of Florence; one brother, Mike (Tippy) Welborn, of Moulton; three sisters, Sherry Parker, of Moulton. Diane (Phillip) Hogue, of Jasper, and Glenda (John) Dean, of Jacksonville, Florida; three grandchildren, Jason and Taylor Skelton and Malachi Welborn.
