Funeral for Drucilla J. "Trudy" McMunn Cornelius, 91, of Decatur will be Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home with Hank Smith and Bill Traywick officiating. Burial will be in Jefferson Memorial Cemetery in Trussville. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Cornelius, who died Friday, September 19, 2014, at Decatur Morgan Hospital, was born May 11, 1923, in Decatur. She was retired from Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey McMunn and one son, John McMunn.

Survivors include one daughter, Flossie Gilmore and husband, Amos; three sons, Benny McMunn and wife, Jane, Stanley McMunn and Stephen McMunn and wife, Janice; daughter-in-law, Betty McMunn; sister, Dessie Tackett; six grandchildren, Amos D. Gilmore Jr., Misty Delk, Michael McMunn, Jennifer King, Dr. Jedediah McMunn and Bryant Gilmore; and five great-grandchildren.
