Earl was a lifelong member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. He retired from International Paper in 2001. He was owner of Earl's Auto Repair. Outside of his family, he loved country music, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A and his '55 Chevy.

A special thank you to his doctor Danny McFall; Hospice of North Alabama (especially Lindsey, Stephanie, Terrye and Matt); Elder Care Services (Dee Mussleman and Abby Byrd); Alvin Austin for the loving care and support, the Rogersville McDonalds staff. Also to our family, friends and church family who have loved and supported us.

Funeral service will be Monday, January 29, 2024, 2 PM at the church with his son-in-law Brandon Gray officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Church Cemetery.
