Eddie "Bo" McGee age 64 of Florence passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2014. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 31 from 12 noon til 2:00 P.M. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. Services will follow in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens with pallbearers being family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas and Nellie McGee.

Bo is survived by his wife of 22 years, Susan Johnson McGee. One daughter, Jennifer Wisdom Ramos and one granddaughter, Zoey Leigh Ramos both of Savannah, GA. One brother, John McGee (Laura) of Chicago, IL. Three sisters, Wanda Hill (Bob) of Oaklawn, IL, Andrea "Andi" Chaney (Wayne) of Tuscumbia, AL and Denella Denson of Muscle Shoals, AL. Six nephews; Johnny McGee, Rob Hill, Brett Hill, Chris Chaney, Jon Chaney and Steven Denson. One niece, Sarah Denson.

Bo enjoyed bowling, fishing and watching sports on TV. He was as any true Marine, very proud to be one of the few. He served his country in Vietnam and was very proud to be a Vietnam Veteran. The love of his life was his family, but most of all his granddaughter Zoey Leigh Ramos. She is the the light of his life.
