Mr. Edgar Lee Holt Jr., age 66, of Florence, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009. Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 6 -8 P.M. at Elkins Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Friday, September 18, 2009 at 11 A.M. in the funeral home chapel with burial to follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Tommy Ruple will be Officiating.
He was retired from Oakland Metal Buildings.
He is survived by his wife; Shirley Jackson Holt, Children; Donna Beckman and husband Terry, Teresa Berry and fianc Michael Thorn and Shannon Holt. Grandchildren; Tiffany and Josh Beckman, Rebecca, Britten and Ryan Randolph, Samuel and Gracie Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents Edgar Lee Holt Sr. and Marjorie Evelyn Elam Holt.
Pallbearers will include Gene Jackson, Melvin Casteel, Jack Hice, Michael Laster, William Thomas and Donnie Prestage.
