Edith Pauline Cottrell, 86, of Lexington died Monday, November 5, 2012 at El Reposo Nursing Home. Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2012, from 10-11 AM at Elkins East Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM in the Chapel. Burial will be at Harmon Cemetery in Lexington. Mrs. Cottrell is survived by her daughter Paulette Cockrell; son Douglas Cottrell and wife Susan; sisters Ora Cottrell and Phyllis Hoenig; brother Anthony Howard; grandchildren Nick Cottrell, Mendy Hale, Chris Cockrell, and Tracy Wilson; great-grandchildren Tyler Hale, Trent Hale, Cade Cockrell, and Sydney Baucom. Pallbearers will be Chris Cockrell, Nick Cottrell, Harold Cottrell, Buck Wilson, Mark Garner, and Michael Garner. The family would like to express their thanks to El Reposo for the care that was given to Mrs. Cottrell.
