A graveside service for Dr. Edwin White, DVM, 85, of Decatur will be held at 3PM Sunday in Roselawn Cemetery with Tony Edwards officiating under the direction of Ridout's Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Dr. White was born on January 10, 1933 in Tennessee to Arthur Edwin White and Christine Viola Warren White. He passed away Wednesday, September 12, in Decatur. He practiced as a veterinarian for over 40 years in Decatur, operating White's Animal Clinic.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife Barbara White; children Allen White, Kathy White, Lorie White, and Avery White; sister Evelyn Hersh; ten grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
